Founded in 2002, Ethan Group is an Australian-owned information technology and communications service provider that offers systems integration, technology sourcing, business systems architecture, telecommunications, and information communications technology (ICT) consulting services.
CIOs and IT managers are no longer just geeks in suits. They are now expected to contribute to their organisation’s strategy and business development objectives.
If this sounds like you, you’ll probably appreciate an extra set of hands to help with the day-to-day work of managing your organisation’s IT assets. This will give you the time and thinking space to advise on how technology can deliver on your organisation’s corporate goals
Cloud computing is revolutionising the way organisations acquire and consume technology. Instead of buying, building and managing IT infrastructure onsite, cloud computing allows organisations to access technology resources in a data centre over a high-speed broadband network.
Once upon a time, a phone system and a notepad were all you needed to do business. These days, with customers, partners and suppliers scattered around the world – and a globetrotting workforce – you’ll need more sophisticated ways to keep in touch.
Information and communication technology (ICT) can make or break a business. The right supplier can help you make sense of new ICT products, select the best solutions for your business and provide a helping hand after implementation.

SYDNEY, March 23, 2015 – Industry-leading cloud service provider, Ethan Group is proud to have been named among the top performing partners for 2014 by storage vendor EMC.
At a formal ceremony and partner conference, Ethan Group was awarded for ‘Overall Excellence in Hybrid Cloud’, as well as ‘Excellence in Partnering’, in recognition of its innovative approach to designing, deploying and supporting enterprise-grade IT solutions.
“It’s an honour for Ethan Group to receive these awards and is an affirmation of our strong track-record in delivering successful cloud solutions for organisations globally,” said Tony Geagea, Ethan Group co-Founder and Executive Director.
While the EMC Business Partner Program Awards are based on business performance, the ‘EMC Partner Conference’ has industry peers judge companies for ‘Excellence in Partnering’.
During the conference Ethan Group was awarded for its work with EMC in delivering a significant upgrade supporting the expansion of a renowned Australian transport and infrastructure company.
Mark Fioretto, EMC’s general manager for telecommunications, service providers and alliances, A/NZ, acknowledged Ethan Group’s exceptional work on blue-chip accounts. “Ethan Group was able to earn customers’ trust having deployed the technology for its own successful cloud solution; one which integrates with clients’ own cloud environments”.
Ethan Group has a proven track record delivering real value to Australian and internationally recognised organisations. Its reputation for excellence is especially strong in the cloud, having invested millions of dollars building a best-of-breed environment and suite of components to help companies make the transition to the cloud of their choosing; public, private or hybrid.
This reputation in the industry has seen Ethan Group - a former BRW Fastest 100 winner and an MIS Strategic 100 - experience a period of rapid growth, winning several significant contracts in Australia and overseas since the inception of cloud.
“Ethan Group is in one of its most exciting phases as more organisations realise the unique level of understanding, innovation and support we bring to helping companies meet the challenges of today’s evolving business environment,” noted Geagea.
Alister Dias, Vice President and Managing Director EMC ANZ attributed much of the storage giant’s success in 2014 to that of its leading partners such as Ethan Group.
“Ethan Group has proved itself to be a key partner for EMC, having earned distinction in terms of technical innovation, but also by providing extremely high levels of engagement with us and the end customer.”
“This is critically important in helping organisations transition to the cloud.”
