Board of Directors
Co-founder and Executive Director
The legal brain of Ethan Group, Andrew is a strategist with a background in law and economics. He is an accomplished entrepreneur who has founded several businesses with a combined turnover of more than $250 million annually. Drawing on his commercial acumen and knowledge of effective business structures, he has established and managed a number of successful businesses in the financial and legal sectors.
At Ethan Group, Andrew is responsible for the company’s unique remuneration and retention model, creating new divisions, managing a number of critical relationships and working with the board and management team to set the direction of the business.
Andrew is a highly experienced corporate lawyer, specialising in commercial litigation, insurance and administrative law. He holds a Masters of Laws from the University of Sydney and is admitted to practise in the NSW Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia.
Co-founder and Executive Director
Tony was born with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for technology. He launched his first company when he was just 12 years old, providing IT services to students at his high school. Today, he is the founder and Executive Director of six unique and innovative ICT businesses.
Tony co-founded Ethan Group in late 2002. He was appointed Director following the company’s incorporation, and has steered Ethan Group from a start-up enterprise to its current position as a rapidly expanding and profitable information technology and telecommunications service provider. Three years after its launch, Ethan Group was ranked as Australia’s fastest growing company by BRW magazine.
As Executive Director of Ethan Group, Tony’s focus is on establishing new businesses within the group and uncovering strategic acquisition opportunities. He also manages key supplier and market relationships. Tony’s innovative approach to sales, alliances, branding, marketing, management and creating complementary new businesses gives Ethan Group and its associated companies a considerable competitive advantage, and a respected position in the market.
Chief Executive Officer
Paul has been with Ethan Group since the company’s inception, and was a driving force behind a range of innovative initiatives across the business over the past decade. With a background in finance, his strengths include the ability to focus on the business benefits of technology for customers, as well as the impact the technology will make on the way IT operates.
This focus enabled Paul to become a trusted adviser to senior executives and decision makers within Ethan Group’s more than 1,500 customers across the government, telecommunications, education, health and other key sectors. He looks after the day-to-day operations of the business, including implementing systems and procedures to grow the company.
Prior to becoming CEO, Paul was the company’s IT&T Services Group Manager, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Ethan Group, Paul was the Corporate Finance Manager for two multimillion-dollar organisations, where he developed the skills to provide sound financial judgement in budget and cash flow management. He is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University.
Chief Financial Officer
Tim is a CPA with a Bachelor of Business and an MBA from the University of Technology Sydney.
Tim has more than 14 years experience in the IT industry and has worked alongside the executive team for the past 13 years. He has been instrumental in managing Ethan Group’s financial and banking relationships with key suppliers.
People Services Manager
Sue commenced with Ethan Group in July 2016 as a key member of the Executive Team and is responsible for the Human Resources strategy; policies and systems; recruitment and selection; talent and succession; workplace relations; W.H. & S, as well as the Reception and facilities management.
Prior to joining our team, Sue, a long standing member of the Australian Human Resources Institute, headed the HR functions in various organisations in Banking, legal, consumer, telco and manufacturing. Sue’s well -honed HR experience, strong track record and persona will enable the function to further develop and in so doing, support the culture and the planned business growth and objectives of the Ethan Group.
